Intertech Talents uses personal data to review applications, manage event access, communicate with applicants, and improve the quality of future editions.

We aim to collect only the information needed to operate the waitlist, select attendees, manage event communications, and understand application trends in aggregate.

When you apply to join an Intertech Talents event, we may collect information such as your name, email address, LinkedIn profile, city, role, company, school, graduation year, profile type, motivation, and how you heard about us.

We may also collect technical attribution information such as UTM parameters, referrer, landing page, and browser user-agent. This helps us understand which channels bring applicants to Intertech Talents.

Application data is used to review waitlist applications, manage attendee selection, send transactional event emails, communicate application updates, and support internal reporting.

Internal reporting may include aggregate insights such as application sources, applicant profiles, schools, companies, and application statuses. These insights help the team improve future events.

Applicants may contact Intertech Talents to request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data.

Some information may need to be retained where required for event operations, security, dispute handling, or legal obligations.

Submitting a waitlist application does not guarantee admission to an event. Intertech Talents may review applications and select attendees based on event capacity, audience mix, safety, community fit, and operational constraints.

Selected attendees may receive additional event details by email, including registration instructions, venue information, timing, and participation requirements.

Where applicable, event registration, payment, ticket delivery, cancellations, refunds, and attendee check-in may be handled by a third-party platform such as Luma.

When ticketing or payment is handled by a third-party platform, that platform's own terms, privacy policy, payment rules, cancellation rules, and refund rules may also apply.
